The space is huge, a large private plot with a bathroom, a toilette, an outdoor dishwashing area and a BBQ area. Everything was crystal clear, spacious, cozy, therevwasbhot water every time. We could buy delicious meat from the owners and grilled it on the fire - it was great :) The son of the owner was super kind and helpful. I fully recommend this campsite, especially for those on a roadtrip with a tented car. This clean and peaceful location was such a relief after the other crowded campsites.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 11 km from Twyfelfontein. Beautifully designed resort tucked away in the rocks with a million dollar view. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Guided tours well-organized and informative (the elephant drive was absolutely amazing!). Food and drinks delicious, with best breakfast in Namibia (what an incredible spread).

Each bungalow at the Huab Lodge features a private veranda overlooking the area and hills. They all have a private bathroom with twin basins and views from the shower. All of them have thatched roofs and typical African decoration. A must visit in Namibia. Most exquisite remote lodge. Hosts are knowledgeable and personable. Staff most helpful. Clean .

Petrified Forest Khorixas is 30 km from the lodge. Lovely place to stay in Damaraland! The tents are clean and spacious with attached toilet and shower, hot water and electricity. The food was excellent, dinner was 250 each and more food than we could eat. Breakfast was great, and they gave us a packed lunch (I think lunch was 200) for our long drive. The staff was incredible, so attentive and helpful, some of the best we’ve had in months of traveling. The camp is away from all lights so it was some of the best star gazing ever. The ownership is brand new (and Namibian) as of September 2025 so take this into account when looking at older reviews online.

At the hotel, every room is equipped with a wardrobe. All rooms include a kettle and a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, while certain rooms also offer a kitchen fitted with a fridge. The two workers at reception were very unwelcoming, borderline rude making faces and talking about us while standing in-front of them. The campsites were basic with leaking water everywhere, overrun with mosquitoes. The bathroom station was infested with mosquitoes and quite dirty and old. Every 10 minutes a new Namibian man was trying to sell us firewood or clean our car. The only thing I liked about the property was Stephen at Damaraland (the wood carver).
