Desert Camp’s units have a private entrance and a kitchenette with an electric kettle and a refrigerator. All rooms are decorated with the colours of the Namib Desert and have power points for hairdryers and shavers. After a stay in the neighbouring camp, we knew Desert Camp would be a hit. Is has beautiful cottages, with plenty of storage space behind the bed/in the bathroom. The shower is great and my kids loved the pool. But what sets apart this accommodation is the possibility to have breakfast and dinner at the Sossusvlei lodge, which is always good and definitely a highlight. The location is wonderful as well of course, you are right next to the Sossusvlei park.

Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area. The accommodation is non-smoking. This was the best campsite we have ever visited in our life :) The campsites are large - hectares of private land in a very peaceful and safe natural environment. The private bathroom was clean, water was hot. We could cook our meals on the open fire. At the reception we could relax, have a nice beer. The reception itself is also wonderful with a lot of artwork. It is evident from all the beautiful details that this place is a real passion and mission of the owners. The lady was very kind and provided useful information on the places to visit. They have some own hiking trails - all wonderful :) This place was such a wonderful and peaceful experience, fully recommended!
