Starting with the location, the property is close enough to everything you might need, with a little walk required to get groceries and a bit longer one to enjoy the city centre, although it can be avoided if you’d rather get the bus instead. The house itself is extremely well built with a perfect balance between cozyness and functionality, with great decoration and a mind blowing view. We went to Tromso aiming to experience the aurora but staying in this beautiful house almost stole the show!

The apartment was very comfortable and spacious for four people. Its location was very convenient to public transport and the Eurospa, also an easy walk to town. Our host was very helpful and available when we had any questions including early transport to the airport. Beds were very comfortable and we were always warm.

Overall it is a perfect place to stay. Getting away from the crowd in a peaceful environment. Great facilities (kitchen and showers) enjoying the outlook of a marvelous fjord. The host was very engaged and helpful.

We cannot recommend this cabin enough- it’s in the most idyllic setting by a river. It is excellently equipped with- we cooked a full roast dinner for New Year’s Day. It’s cosy and warm. We stayed in polar winter and saw the aurora every night - even from the decking. We built campfires with the kids with cheap wood bought from the owner and had them in one of their fire pits. We went on excursions to see reindeer, go snow shoe walking (self hired with maps at Skibotn hotel) , went on a snowmobile trip and a dog sled trip. All these trips happen in Skibotn valley - many people travel daily from Tromsø here to do these activities - staying here meant we could spend more time enjoying ourselves rather than travelling Absolutely 5 star experience which I would recommend
