If you are considering a hotel or hostel around this budget do not hesitate to book with this one.

They even allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel after an early check-out, and when we returned from island hopping, they provided shower facilities and fresh towels to freshen up. The hotel is very clean and new; I loved the stylish décor and the pleasant, relaxing scent throughout. It’s definitely my favorite hotel in Panglao. Highly recommended!

We loved it so much that we actually came back just two weeks after our first visit! Meredith went above and beyond to help us with every request, always with a smile and such genuine care. Even when we had to switch to a different place for our final night (since they were fully booked), they still invited us to use the shared spaces and made us feel just as welcome. If you’re looking for a super cozy, laid-back place surrounded by the kindest people, Balay Kumbal is exactly where you want to be.
