We loved that the apartment is in a very exclusive, quiet, secure and peaceful area, close to many excellent restaurants and shopping areas. We also loved our warm and inviting host Fabiola as she helped make our first trip to Puerto Rico so enjoyable. Her local knowledge and advice were indispensable, and she went out of her way on many occasions to provide help. We had arranged with her to pick us up from the airport on arrival, which is highly recommended as some of the taxi drivers don't know the area. We are also interested in nature, and she showed us some of the best places to see birds in the neighborhood. As it was Xmas, the casa was delightfully decorated and lit up with Christmas lights, and the house interior is elegantly furnished with beautiful pieces of art. On our second day we picked up our rental car from Enterprise which has an outlet less than 1km away down the street which is also very convenient. During the evenings we tended to leave the car at home and just to walk to the plaza to eat, taking time to admire all the beautiful Xmas lights around Tintillo. Would definitely want to come back here as it is a great base with a host who is true gem.

Loved having the rooftop patio with ocean views. Could hear the ocean from up there. In the morning, had coffee there and watched the iguanas wake up in the tree tops. Bed was comfortable, good pillows, good hot water. The one AC unit was plenty to cool down the whole apartment.

She stayed with us from the time we landed in San Juan after 2:00 AM, made sure we get to her place with clear instructions. She was waiting for us that early and opened the door herself smiling and showing us our place with all the amenities. She made sure that we could wake her up any time if we need her. In the morning, she has a list of prepared recommendations where we can eat, shop, and places to visit. She let us use her kitchen. She noticed that I have allergy. She offered medication. She even went to the extent that she washed and dried our clothes. Her place is very cozy and clean, with all the amenities and privacy in a very safe place central to all highways and shopping centers.
