Beautiful cabin surrounded by nature, great ocean view and a 3 minute walk from the beach. Perfect place to enjoy Principe. Also within a walking distance from the center. The host is super friendly and the house is very clean, well equiped with an airco, fridge and microwafe and brand new. In the morning you hear all kinds of birds and the place is very peaceful. We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher and would defenitely go back there.

It‘s just as beautiful as in the pictures and Bracino, the dog, is the sweetest addition to this home you could imagine. Rita regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and the property manager Joaquin was super helpful. Every morning, he brought us fresh fruit from the farm. ❤️ It‘s just a ~7-10min drive from the biggest town on the island and Rita has many recommendations for restaurants. There’s also a beach within walking distance.

The manager and staff were very polite and helpful. As a suggestion for breakfast, it would be great to have a small written menu to choose from. Also, offering some local coffee and cacao would add a lovely touch to the experience.

Το Pousadinha Mar Ave Ilha είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στη θάλασσα που βρίσκεται σε Principe. Προσφέρει εστιατόριο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, μπαρ, κήπο και βεράντα. We absolutely loved the staff Betty and Marlene. Both were so lovely, warm hearted kind and patient, always with a smile on their beautiful faces even through having to deal with two travellers who spoke no Portuguese. Thet went above and beyond making our stay comfortable, making us feel part of their family. What a special place for the person who wants to explore the natural world of Principe. Be prepared facilities are basic in the area with a local shop that provides only the very basic food stuffs and takes local cash. There is an amazing secluded beach at the bottom of a ,steep at times, jungle track that is accessible by foot only, its about 2km walking down and up around 223m of elevation. There is plenty to see on the route, including lots of parrots roosting at dusk.

Carlos is a great host! He and his staff are always there to satisfy your requests, with a smile. Breakfast is very good, and dinner is special - we had three meals and each was unique, with local ingredients/recipes.
