All dining is on the roof top terrace - dinners are delicious with lots of fresh seafood caught locally. All the usual breakfast foods available plus GREAT pancakes and local doughnuts! All staff absolutely super friendly and helpful. We were met by Luca who hosted us throughout our stay and we were warmly welcomed into the Emerald Bay family. Luca took us out on the boat (dhow) each day to the amazing pristine white sand banks and turquoise warm sea - totally magical and relaxing. Emerald Bay is truly a genuinely special place, out of the tourist hot spots and absolutely in tune with nature and the location. We loved our stay. The owner is full of ideas about activities on the island (hidden gems included) and can organize everything. The best food on Pemba!!! I felt like vip and local at the same time which made me fall in love with Pemba.
