I got the chance to do a tour with John, their local guide, who was happy to answer all my questions with a very detailed explanation.

The place is so beautiful, full with details in the decoration; quiet and peaceful. I can only recommend everyone to stay here! We wished we could have stayed longer. All units have a seating area. Towels are offered. What a total gem! Location is fantastic- only a 30 minute drive to the starting point of chimp trekking. The views are amazing and there are a ton of great chill out areas on the deck. The grounds are beautiful with a ton of beautiful flowers and birds. The food was my favorite out of 7 lodges i stayed in during our trip to Uganda. The room was great and the bathroom was super clean and had a great shower. However, the highlight of our visit was the staff. They could not have been more accommodating or helpful - especially Brian! We were really grateful that they cleaned our shoes after our chimp trek.

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. We really enjoyed our stay at Gaia Eco Hub. It is easy to find, in the city center and such a cozy place. The garden has multiple areas for chilling and there is an area to have breakfast. The rooms were clean, the sheets smelled fresh and we had a proper and warm blanket. We were three people and therefore booked a dorm and a double room. Luckily there were three other girls staying at the dorm, so it was not a problem that the room was quite small. Francis welcomed us with a big smile and always helped us out. He also organized a Boda driver to check out the nature for a fair price. We were lucky because we experienced a flea market that takes place every last Saturday of the month.
