Amazing historical building with a lovely authentic feel to it. So clean and comfortable, with great host Rema. I felt safe as a female solo traveller. The view is gorgeous up there! The room with the balcony is amazing. It’s really clean and the man working there makes sure you have a comfortable stay. You shouldn’t mind walking a steep path for around 10min to get to the house.

Staying at Bluechip Summer Bungalow was absolutely magical. The location, right in the middle of a tea plantation, and the beautiful British-style house surrounded by gardens make you feel part of Nuwara Eliya’s history. Our room was huge, with the most comfortable bed we had during our trip in Sri Lanka. The staff was extremely attentive and professional and the food was simply outstanding.They even arranged a walk for us to Lovers Leap waterfall, which is easily accessible from the hotel and was a perfect experience. A truly authentic stay in “Little England”. Highly recommended for anyone looking for charm, comfort, and a genuine atmosphere.
