Orangutan Bungalow in Bukit Lawang biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de bergen, gratis fietsen, een tuin, een terras, een restaurant en een barbecue. Er is gratis WiFi. Gids kwam mij ophalen van het busstation, gezamenlijk naar het verblijf gelopen. De communicatie voor en tijdens het verblijf was ook echt top. Heel erg behulpzaam. De bedden liggen ook goed en er is een klamboe aanwezig.

I loved my stay here! The bungalows are cosy and comfortable, located in a quiet area of forest away (but not too far) from the business of Bukit Lawang centre. There’s also a lovely river swimming spot just 5 min walk away! What made my time here the best was the kindness of Putra, Maya, and Fitraya. They are all lovely and make sure you feel at home. Not to mention, the food is amazing (especially the Chicken Rendang!) I did the 3 day 2 night trek with Putra and had such a fantastic time - he clearly knows a lot and cares for the jungle, it was such an awesome experience. Sawah Resto Bungalow & Jungle Trekking ligt in Bukit Lawang en biedt een tuin. Er is een terras en je kunt er gebruik van maken gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Lovely spacious rooms with gorgeous balcony and view. Rooms were very clean with flushing toilets! Easy walk into town where there’s lots of restaurants and a supermarket. The owner and staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. We felt very safe and welcome here. They cooked us lovely banana pancakes for breakfast and a lovely lunch.

Bungalow Karo Hill is gelegen in Berastagi, op 27 km van Mount Sinabung en biedt gratis WiFi en een tuin met een terras. Sommige units hebben een eethoek en/of een balkon. Our room on the ground floor was spacious, comfy and warm. The water heater worked well. We loved taking the local bus right at the door to go downtown to restaurants. It was 30k per person. The host also helped us to hire the local bus to bring us to the starting point of the Sibayak hike. It was not an easy drive!
