Built in an ancient Colonial-period Bungalow, The Elephant Stables is a beautiful property overlooking Kandy’s lush greenery. It welcomes guests with an outdoor swimming pool and cosy guestrooms. One of the most enchanting places on earth! Nihal took exceptional care of us from the very first moment. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and we felt warmly welcomed. The property, the garden, and the pool are truly magical. We enjoyed lunch and breakfast, and both meals were absolutely delicious. The chef Idika came personally to check in to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. The location is in Kandy, just a five-minute tuk-tuk ride from the city centre. The hotel also kindly offered to drive us back and forth. Overall, a five-star-plus experience.

We like Namadi heights because it is a beautifully kept home built in the traditional Bungalow style. It sits high up overlooking the town of Kandy. Our room was tastefully furnished, the wall finish is of sealed clay brick giving a unique interior style. Nishi looked after us in a warm and gracious way providing tea in the morning and afternoon.breakfasts are presented to suit and are delicious. Nishi has several rescue dogs who come gathering around to greet you. We had some good conversation with Nishi and her husband Bhandu is knowledgable onSri Lankan cultural history Nishi can arrange for her trusted driver to take you to see the sights in Kandy and beyond. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kandy Siebel Bungalow, hosted by Anoma and her daughter. Although my stay was brief—just one night—I was thoroughly impressed. Upon arrival, I was welcomed warmly and offered a delicious dinner.My room was beautifully upgraded to feature one large double bed and a single bed, perfect for families or groups. The stunning mountain view from my room was a highlight, and the fast, stable Wi-Fi made my stay even more enjoyable.The location is excellent, just a 23-minute walk from the train station, in a lovely area with good bus connections. Anoma's kindness and helpfulness truly made this homestay a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Located within 24 km of Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens and 26 km of Ceylon Tea Museum in Kandy, Rockbourne Bungalow provides accommodation with seating area. We had just finished walking all 300km of the mountainous pekoe trail so this was the perfect place to come and chill straight after. Loved the pool and the service, food and everything about this place. Felt like a very special place indeed.
