Bungalow Resort - Sigiriya ligt in Sigiriya, op 2,4 km van Sigiriya Rock, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een fitnesscentrum en een tuin. The room was big and comfortable, breakfast very good and abundant. Staff (especially Janith) were very helpful and nice they made my stay very pleasant.

Het huis was perfect en het eten was heerlijk en alles is vegetarisch (en ik miste het vlees en vis echt niet) en er was een hele mooie wandeling en een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen en de natuur en er was een hele mooie woonkamer en een library met hele lekkere stoelen. Eigelijk zijn er overal lekkere stoelen en er is heel leuk personeel en wat mij betreft krijgt het een dikke 10! (geschreven door de zoon van het gezin)

Habarana VIllage by Cinnamon ligt op 15 minuten rijden van het nationaal park Minneriya en biedt kamers in bungalowstijl, omgeven door groen. Our stay at this hotel was an excellent experience. The service was incredibly friendly and warm-hearted, making us feel welcome from the very beginning. A special mention goes to Hashani at the reception, whose service really stood out, though the rest of the staff were also lovely and accommodating. Our room was clean and spacious, with a unique touch—a beautiful outdoor shower creatively integrated into the space. We were especially grateful for the unexpected room upgrade, which was a wonderful surprise and made our stay even more memorable. The buffet was excellent, both for breakfast and dinner, offering a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, making dining at the hotel a delight. The location was good, especially when traveling with a driver. It made it easy to explore the surrounding areas without any hassle. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we left with great memories. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and hope to visit again in the future!

Kudaoya Bungalow by Lalan Leisure bevindt zich in Rattota, op 38 km van Winkelcentrum Kandy City Center, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Staff was very friendly and helpfull.

Gaia Lake Bungalow Kandalama bevindt zich in Dambulla, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning, gratis fietsen en toegang tot een tuin met een buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open... We boekten deze accommodatie met 2 gezinnen met in totaal 6 kinderen. Echt een aanrader. Heel de villa voor onszelf met housetaker en kok. Was een super verblijf waar ik zeker nog eens terug naartoe zou willen. Tip voor als je dit boekt, kom op tijd zodat je ook kan genieten van de luxe van je eigen villa, zwembad en grote tuin met uitkijk op het meer.

Estancia Holiday Bungalow heeft uitzicht op de bergen, en biedt accommodatie met een balkon en een waterkoker, op 24 km van Winkelcentrum Kandy City Center. We loved the environment and the aesthetics of the vila. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Deze bungalow uit de jaren 30 van de vorige eeuw is gevestigd op een theeplantage van 40 hectare, aan de voet van de Knuckles-bergketen. A beautiful view of the mountain from this estate. The road leading up to it is accessible again for cars or a tuk-tuk, so you can once more stay in one of the lovely rooms. Warm hospitality, delicious food, pots of tea (after all, it is a tea plantation), and an open fireplace in the evening to sit by for a game or with a book. We are very happy that we went and that it is possible again after the floods. An ideal place to truly unwind, but also perfect for a walk to the waterfall. There is so much to see along the way. And then the breathtaking view over the mountains, especially at sunset. We stayed for two nights, and a third would certainly have been worth it if we hadn’t already made other plans.
