GermanyWe travelled to Durmitor Glamping for 3 nights/4 days during late July. At this moment they had just opened for a few weeks - and we were thrilled. The owners, Andjela and her husband, are the best hosts we've had on our trip! She makes the most wonderful and loving breakfast in the morning and brings it straight to the tent. Packed with homemade baked goods and local cuisine, it was very delicious!
The tents themselves were very clean, had a lot of space, a very comfortable bed and a small entrance space to store luggage and food (in a fridge). We were able to sleep very well, listening to the noises of nature at night and in the morning. The tents themselves block enough light so that you don't get woken up very early - which was amazing. The fresh air and sounds of nature while falling asleep and in the morning were a great addition to our amazing stay here.
At night the hosts often light a bonfire when the weather allows - this is a great opportunity to sit outside, have a drink, stargaze and relax after a day in the mountains. We were also able to rent bikes from the hosts, which we took up a pass for an amazing day. Andjela is also very supportive as she gave us many amazing tips on what to do, where to hike and which routes to take. We absolutely loved our stay at Durmitor glamping and would recommend this to anyone who wants to be closer to nature.
We really recommend this place to solo-travelers, couples or families. It was our first time trying glamping, and we fell in love with Durmitor Glamping, the hosts and everything the region had to offer!
