Beautiful rooms, very warm hospitality and wonderful breakfast with home made cakes. To see the sunset on the ocean sitting in a armchair in front of the window is really unique.

Location, location, location- to be able to wake up to the Moais & best sunset spot on the island.

Beautiful location (nicer than in the village). Very clean and convenient apartment, with nice veranda. Quality of the house better than most of the others. Very interesting and informative tours of the village with Christophe, the landlord and the guide at the same time. These are not big group tours: we were just 2 of us, max could be 4.

If location is important, I don't think there is a better choice on the island. Hostal Vieroto was located in town close to everything from grocery stores, restaurants and the sunset moai! I loved my stay here and highly recommend choosing the second-floor oceanfront room. When I wasn't on tour, I could enjoy my deck, the sunrise/sunset, and the ocean all day long. So thankful I picked this accommodation, the oceanfront room, and the host, Claudio, was especially helpful with airport transfers and setting up tours.

Romina is an excellent host. She took care of our total stay incl. airport transfers, daily trips on the island, recommendations for restaurants and sharing her insider views. She was very flexible and super friendly. The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated with flowers. We had a little patio in front where we could sit & enjoy. Location is right next to Ahu Tahai, perfect place for sunset and stargazing. Shortest path to the city centre is via Ahu Tahai which can be challenging after sunset due to lack of lights

Wonderful location with amazing sea view. Very clean, nice big kitchen and bathroom. The sun beds in front of the hotel are just great to relax, hear the waves, watch the cliffs. The host is a very friendly and helpful lady. She is also great with recycling. So 10 points for sustainability as well!

The scenery and sunset

Rooms were spacious. The veranda area was excellent. There was a fridge and a kettle in the room too. Area was relatively quiet and close to lovely cliffs to watch the sunset. It was good to have breakfast included
