The beds were comfy, the tents were cosy
Really friendly and passionate staff. Great location. Comfortable tents and beds
The bell tents were a really good location. The beds and bedding were excellent. I couldn't ask for more.
We came to Isle Of Man parkrun and the weather was extremely windy and wet. We were due to book in at 3pm at the Best Western Palace so when we arrived at the hotel, we were wet through and very muddy. We couldn’t go to our rooms as we were too early, but we were allowed to use the pool, spa and showers to clean up and change into dry clothes. We were so relieved to have a hot shower with towels and facilities all free.
Quiet location. Lovely hot shower. Well equipped self-catering kitchen with local supermarket nearby. Shared spaces kept clean and fresh towels frequently changed.
We didn't hear much from the guys running the tents, but James in the clubhouse was so lovely and helpful, he made our whole trip. The tents were clean and roomy enough, but a bit cold at night - could have used thicker duvets or blankets. Clubhouse had decent bathrooms but not a lot of privacy - more like group changerooms with a few curtains, so would not be ideal if busy.
Peaceful setting. Made to feel welcome and meet other guests as breakfast was served around a large table. Had an opportunity to feed the farm animals with farmer John which was informative and fun. Room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and large walk in shower. We were in Bluebell. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of choice. A well run B&B which I would definitely return to. Also lovely walks on signposted paths from the farm especially watching the sunset from the top of the hill. Fabulous hosts.
staff were lovely. tents clean and comfortable. just had a noise issue with a neighbouring tent which was the only negative factor but no complaints about the location, or team there
