The tranquility of the location (after travelling 3 weeks in India this is where one wants to end their holiday), the room is super clean very spacious and has its own veranda and patio with backwater views, bathroom and shower perfect too; the exceptional staff Vishnu Lalu and our cook who makes you feel welcome and special every day A short and cheap tuk tuk ride to restaurants and beach

Staff were welcoming and very helpful, particularly Richard. We stayed in the Heritage Wing and loved the room and the large veranda with great views of the backwaters. I was able to sit with a cup of tea and watch white-throated and stork-billed kingfishers, oriental darters and the usual egrets and herons fishing. Food was easily ordered from the excellent Lilliput restaurant and breakfast was tasty South Indian and varied each day.

The property was very clean, beautiful gardens, lovely staff who smiled all day long. Great food. The pool was fantastic. Amazing location. Lots of wildlife.

Quiet location twixt deserted beach & backwater. Spotlessly clean, cmfy bed & friendly staff. Short walk to a small selection of bars/ resturaunts serving variety of great seafood. Highly recommended if the relentless commercialisation of Goa disappoints. Highly friendly locals. Recommended
