Thankyou for the most wonderful stay at Yala Wild Hut. The location is so beautifully isolated and you have a real sense of being in nature … the stars at night were incredible. The team at Wild Hut were fantastic: understated unobtrusive exceptionally attentive.. Isuru was a wonder : full of knowledge about the environment and taught us the importance of “ knowing what you’re looking for “ when spotting wild life in the park. We felt safe and looked out forat all times whilst also feeling free to explore this incredible place for ourselves. Sunset on the rock playing cards drinking tea and listening to the wildlife will be a cherished memory forever . Thankyiu Yala Wild Hut and especially Isuru the lucky for a truly magical stay J🙏🏽 the food was great especially the lunchtime curry and the bbq too , and communication pre and during stay was excellent, and very helpful with arranging transport .

Don't book somewhere else safari tour, we had one day with highly recommended company and next day with them, it is good that we took this decision, it was many times more enjoyable, nice car, professional driver and ranger!!! Also we really enjoyed the stay with dog, he was taking care of us, sleeping outside, and didn't let any animals next to the tent. Nice protective dog, just keep in mind that this is not a pet. They are still semi wild, so needs to give them space and to know how to behave. Highly recommended place

And the highlight of our trip was a breathtaking leopard sighting that left us in awe. The service provided was exceptional, and the staff went out of their way to engage our children. The cozy tented chalet allowed us to connect with nature while enjoying the comforts of a clean and well-maintained accommodation. We recommend Makini for families seeking a remarkable safari adventure with top-notch service and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

When I booked there weren't a lot of reviews but all of the reviews were fantastic so I assumed that it was just newer and didn't have a lot of reviews. This was one of the only times that I felt let down by booking.com reviews. The staff at the place was very warm but there were more negatives about the property than positives.

Such a wonderful place with an amazing hospitality. I’ve also enjoyed the private safari. That was full of excitement! The room on a tree was pretty clean and the bbq was fantastic.
