Angus greeted us on arrival and it was clear how much pride he has in his land and how much he enjoys sharing it with others.

Brilliant clamping stay. The tent is huge and bed is comfy. Board games and place for relaxing provided. The attached decking, kitchen unit and bathroom were all top notch and the view was lovely. Great location and a perfect getaway.

Loved the location, the place was very very clean! We were able to check in earlier than expected and hit the beach as soon as we got there, despite being average weather the water wasn't too cold. Unfortunately our stay wasn't as long as it should be and we missed out on using the equipment! The cabin was genuinely beautiful, decor is gorgeous and almost romantic! Thank you for having us.

Do yourself a favour and stay here, we had an incredible time! From the beautiful decor to the thoughtful little touches (fresh eggs, juice, bread and milk, and a smore kit), everything was just really pleasant, and the host was really helpful and responsive. We took up the option to order a charcuterie board and onsite massages - amazing!

We had so many questions because we were travelling with a picky 5 year old and she was able to help us with everything in a timely fashion. The property was amazing, a place we all wished we had and with every facility functioning as it should. It is clean and modern in it's design. Internet speed was good and One NZ mobile coverage was more than adequate. A definite gem especially if you appreciate sleeping under the stars. A two-minute drive to the Waikite Valley Pools is an icing on the cake.
