I had a wonderful experience at Yala Way Nature Villa. It provided us with excellent family-friendly services. Located in a very quiet environment, this is a great place for those who love the environment. Delicious local food was served and we were able to spend a beautiful night with barbecue. The place has been renovated with a new look and is very clean. That night spent under a starry sky made our lives beautiful.

A good location for a stress-free stay in Kirinda, Beach Bungalow Yala is a campground surrounded by views of the garden.

This place was great. One of the best stays we had in Sri Lanka. The staff has been extremely kind to us and made our stay very comfortable.

Lovely staff, beautiful property and the rooms are stunning. Very comfortable and homely in the rooms. We appreciated the staffs attentiveness and they really wanted us to enjoy our stay. They also organised a safari for us at Yala and the location of the villa is great for that!

Beautiful, authentic and wild place right next to the safari park. The host is fantastic, really kind and welcoming and made great food!! The place is rustic but very clean and all adds to the feeling of being immersed in the jungle.

We stayed at Big Game safari camp for 2 nights, we had a very stylish glamping tent that we stayed in - it was very comfortable and immersive in the jungle nature. Big Game organised a full day safari for us which was amazing! We saw so many animals (tusk elephants, leopard, sloth bear, crocodiles, water buffalo, etc). They prepared great breakfast, lunch & dinners for us also & we really enjoyed our time at Big Game. Would recommend to a friend!

Where do I begin... What an experience! We were picked up exactly at the time they said by the great jeep that already put us in the safari mood. We were expexting a nice tent but were blown away by the size of the tent and how comfortable it was. The dinner was nice as was the lunch the next day, but we didn´t come for food. THE BEST things were the night walk (scary!!!!) and the safari tour the next day and we had a great guide, Jelo, who made it extra fun and informative. Great sense of humor and an all round great guy! We saw the leopard! And monkeys, water buffalos, crocodiles, the list is long. The scenery took our breath away. Everything ran like clock work, very professional and friendly.

This is truly an outdoor experience and not to be confused with a hotel stay. The staff were absolutely wonderful you couldn't fault them. They were there but yet they were not. You had all the privacy you wanted and felt you were all by yourself but when you needed the staff they were there immediately. It's an experience staying in a tree house so close to jungle and not to be missed but it has to be your cup of tea not everyone can handle it. Your at one with nature and your definitely sharing with them. The staff arranged a safari tour for us and their driver / guide made sure we missed nothing and we got to see a leopard close up.

First ask yourself what is the reason you want to be here - if you are here for the nature alone, Nilantha is the best person you can stay with and who you SHOULD take as a guide with you to the safari. He has a degree in biology , fluent English and knows so much about the local fauna and flora so a full day safari doesn’t get boring (which I can imagine can if you only take a driver with you). He is a true believer in ecotourism and is giving back to local communities. If you are here for a fancy dinner and facilities, go somewhere else. This is a simple stay in the jungle. And one more thing to add - your guide is not responsible for how many animals you’ll see BUT we were lucky and he for sure knows some spots where they MIGHT appear. And last but not least- Nilantha is a great and nice person we had a chance to meet :)

Incredible place. Highlight of our trip. Extraordinary location on the dunes - so beautiful and remote yet very comfortable and wonderful service from the amazing Asela and team. Yala Safari’s were fantastic too. Highly recommend.
