Four of us stayed in the camp for overnight. We felt very welcome and safe since the moment we arrived, and our hosts were extremely attentive. The camp was comfortable, the breakfasts were tasty, and the whole experience was unforgettable: we rode camels, tried sandboarding, listened (and tried to play) Berber music, watched sunrise/sunset, stargazing.

Highlight of our trip. Hasan has this hosting gig nailed. Friendly, informative and funny. We took the camels out to the camp and climbed the Erg Chebbi dune which was spectacular. Off to the camp to the very comfortable, air conditioned tents. Dinner was outstanding followed by traditional music around the campfire looking up at the stars. Breakfast was also outstanding so, all in all, it was awesome from start to finish. I can’t see how other camps could match it.

It was an amazing experience. All the staff is amazing and make this time even better. We stayed two nights. All the rooms are super clean and the place is amazing. Located in the middle of desert. The team of Merzouga Horizon Luxury Camp organize all the things and we felt that all the time we don’t need to worry about anything because they are super good. The dinner and the breakfast are great as well (tip: ask for the scramble eggs. They are great). Definitely a place that we want to repeat. Special thanks to Said and Youssef to be the best people and to receive us with kindness and always attentive and ready to give us the best time. 🫶🏻

We had a great overnight stay in Merzouga! The private tent was comfortable, and even with the shared bathroom and shared shower, everything was clean and well-organized. The camel trekking during sunset was a moment we will never forget — the scenery was incredible. We also tried quad biking and it was a very exciting adventure! The camp team were kind, helpful, and made us feel welcome. Overall, this is a fantastic desert experience and we definitely recommend this camp to anyone visiting Merzouga!
