It was cool, calm, kids were happy. Very clean. We were prepared for mosquitos, but after killing few each evening we had no problems at night.

This is an absolute gem of a find. It's in a centre which has a pool, big slide, bar, restaurant, a lake you can swim in and loads for the kids to do. The host is sub-letting a very clean and beautiful lodge on-site.
Super friendly host (well, this was the sister of the host who we met and she was lovely) who left is a free bottle of wine, apples, and some waffles for breakfast.
There even an awesome BBQ and they can supply charcoal.
Honestly, I can't recommend this enough.

I loved the warm energy of Bert and his colleagues at this camping village! The accommodation he gave us was on a quiet spot (as I requested) right on the little lake, with a beautiful and romantic view. I was impressed by the New years day brunch, how fresh and delicious the food was especially. Hiking in the area was easy to get to and the little camping accommodation was nice and cozy to relax in afterwards. Well heated and warm water, with a comfy bed. Would definitely come back here for another stay!
