I’ve stayed in numerous country cottages over the years, and I must say that this one has become my favourite. Peaceful and quiet and just a short drive to the nearest town / city. The climate was cold but the heating inside perfect and pleasant.

Casa Osante is a beautifully restored historical building in the old town center of Basque Labastida. Our room and bathroom were spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated and very clean. Breakfast was well-served. Our kind and helpful host, took very good care of us. Thank you very much Ana! Casa Osante, the town of Labastida and the nearby restaurant La Cerve where we had dinner, will surely be on our itinerary again next year.

The host was friendly, breakfast was delicious, including the local Basque tart. We managed to find a little campsite (camping el roble verde) a couple of miles away that made delicious fresh pizzas. The little doggie was sweet🥰
