We had the most amazing few days at Dera Baghdarrah. The food was the best we ate in all of Udaipur, and had plentiful vegan options upon our request. The tents were spacious, comfortable and well furnished, complete with hot water and electrical ports! I was a bit unsure as the payment method (razor pay) was not one that is used in the uk, however, it worked absolutely fine. They also recommended a taxi driver, who was punctual and friendly, with reasonable rates. The best part of our stay had to be the beautiful setting, and incredible people. The walks, jeep safari and zip line were a great way to see the reserve as well as some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Naveen‘s impressive knowledge of the local area and wildlife (especially the birds!) made our trip really special and we learned lots. We enjoyed interesting fireside chats with Pankaj, who also provided us with lots the information before the trip, and recommendations for what to do in Udaipur after. The rest of the staff were also really helpful and cooked up great meals. This experience was the highlight of our two week trip to udaipur and we can’t recommend it enough!
