This was such a unique property—very remote, yet close to the nearby town of Dalen. The kitchen was well equipped and we made dinner (there were four of us staying in the two cabins) and foraged for mushrooms and berries at the hosts encouragement and guidance. We also utilized the breakfast items and our leftovers to make omelettes in the morning before we left. We used the amazing sauna and small pond on the property in the evening. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were great and the sunrise was unbelievable. The mirrored cabins are not to be missed. We spent a LOT of time taking photos!

We had the whole house for ourselves so it was very quiet and comfortable. The bed linen and towels were included, the double bed was too soft though. There was a fully-equipped kitchen with everything you need and a small bathroom with things like shampoo, shower cream, soap and even toothpaste. Wi-fi worked OK.

Enjoyed the ease of nature and how you don't need the luxury around you. The bare essentials were there, you can make a fire, cook diner and do your needs in a cosy private toilethousy.
