It’s got a small seating area inside and a patio outside. The guy operating the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The hostel isn’t dirty, not even close. The poor reviews here complaining about it being dirty are baseless when you consider that this is one of the cheapest options in the city short of a red light district. If you have any experience traveling budget style in poorer countries you’ll laugh at the notion of this place being considered dirty; it’s a palace.

Location is perfect its easy access from the mtr station going anywhere you want. Caretaker ate LANZ is the best even in the short period of time we meet shes very nice and talkative . Over all stay was great as a budget traveler.

Visited HK and was pleasantly upgraded from a shared bunkbed room to a single room with my own separate bathroom and toilet. Amazing! Typical of HK the 8m room was compact but the space was impressive, like a tiny home incl loft double bed, mini kitchen and area under the loft with a double wardrobe. Only paid $40 AUD so top value for HK Island on a Sat night. Location was great and close to metro. Discovered Bakehouse for brekky, so good! Plus, best of all was the friendly and helpful service. I will surely stay again on my next to trip to HK.
