The were extremely helpful and friendly. It’s an older property that been given a lot of TLC to give it a new lease of life and there hard work is paying off. I would highly recommend a stay here. I will be back.

It is a wonderful place to stay if you love nature and birds. The name says what this place is about- peaceful. Chris and David are wonderful hosts. The only thing I regret is I should have booked a few days more. Chris saves wild animals from injuries or abandonment, and it is wonderful to visit their cages as she nurses them to health and release.

    Perfectly located, just a stones throw from town but you felt you were at a rural retreat. The cabin itself- was cosy (we were there in the middle of winter and the temperature can get to zero), very well appointed with full sized kitchen, dining and sitting and bedroom zones. Beautiful walk down to the water, hosts very friendly but unobtrusive.

    Comfortable self contained cabin, in a peaceful setting, just as described. Had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, including well appointed kitchen facilities, oven, washing machine, aircon, WiFi etc. The property has a pleasant walk down to the river, with curious horses in adjacent paddock greeting us. I liked the sound of birds chirping in the morning, and the outlook from the back verandah
