Fabulous place to stay! Very well presented and great location!! Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. The log burner was a lovely addition, and having the option of both a bath and a full shower was great. Definitely would book again. Excellent location for our family. A stone's throw away from many attractions and amenities. And the hosts were lovely. Can't wait to go back!

I had a fabulous stay at this lodge which is truly stunning and very comfortable especially the bed which was so cosy . It is probably the best equipped self catering accomodation i have ever stayed in with all the mod cons and equipment that you would need. I was privileged to be the first guest to stay in this new Lodge and was greeted with a wonderful welcome pack which was a lovely surprise. There are beautiful views from the Lodge and its location is well placed for easy access to both Carlisle and Penrith. The site is on the 104 bus route which has a regular service from Carlisle to Penrith and Center Parks. I felt so at home in the Lodge and didnt want to leave, it really was my happy place at a time when i really needed it. Thank you Steve and Susanna you are amazing hosts.

A beautiful building with well appointed, comfortable and quiet rooms (we stayed in 'Willow'). The on-site restaurant was also spot on - lovely food and it was so convenient to be able to just check in and stay put for the evening after we'd had a long drive. A perfect place to break a longer journey (as we did) but it's also somewhere I'd come back to for a longer break to explore the area.
