It was very nice, modern and clean. Perfect for what we needed. It’s also walking distance to a nice family pub with good home cooked food. There are lots of good walks around the property aswell which were mentioned on the welcome paper.

Great location, close to the beach , great value for the money, parking available

We had an overnight stay at Murray’s Lodge and everything was perfect. Great communication before our trip with instructions, the house was clean, comfortable and stylish. A lovely welcome pack was left too, couldn’t fault it!

Lovely lodge in a peaceful area

Absolutely beautiful lake view lodge with stunning views over the lake. Tom & Melissa have put so much thought into making this a lovely place for people to relax and unwind! We stayed for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer! We had the loveliest time and so did our dog Woody! The lodge has everything you will need and the beds/ quilts are sooo comfy! The log burner is also so lovely on a cold winter night whilst watching a film/ playing some games! The Bay itself is such a beautiful place! The beach is about a 20 minute walk and the path is paved all the way down which made it accessible for us as I am unable to walk that far, so my husband (for his sins) was able to push me down in the wheelchair and back up. The beach itself was lovely and quiet and very big! We did get caught by the tide as I couldn’t move fast enough and it comes in pretty fast but luckily it was just wet feet 🤣 There is a lovely dog friendly pub on site, we didn’t eat there, we just had a few drinks but the menu looked good and it was pretty busy! Filey itself is about a 5 minute drive, make sure you visit Inghams if you like fish and chips! If you like pie, make sure you visit The Piebald Inn in Hunmanby which is literally a 5 minute drive from the Bay. Gorgeous pies and huge portions! We also went into Scarborough for a few hours which is about a 30 minute drive. Make sure you get some food for the ducks who will come running every time you open the doors! We got some peas and they went down a treat! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your little piece of heaven, we had such a lovely time and we’re already planning when we can return! We had to dash pretty quick on the Wednesday morning as the snow started coming down thick and fast but it was so pretty! Until next time! ☺️ Roxanne, Andy & Woody!

Very clean caravan in the top spot for reasonable price. Amazing place for a peaceful family holiday or the men's escape day from the peaceful wives!!!
