The set up and layout of both properties was excellent, with great utensils and appliances provided, and plenty of parking and room for all 13 of us. Enjoyed having the separate building where we could enjoy our evenings, therefore not disturbing anyone who wanted an early night. We checked and no sound traveled unless you opened the door. Was immediately asked by my group of friends to start working on a weekend again for next year.

The family were so friendly and helpful. It was so peaceful and the views were beautiful. The hot tub as well as the pod was spotless, plus you had towels for the bathroom and separate ones for the hot tub.

Probably the best self-catering accommodation I have ever stayed in. If I could give Dwarf Studio 11/10, I would! Spacious, light-filled, clean, comfortable with all the conveniences a traveller needs. Comfortable bed, streaming services and sunny courtyard were additional bonuses. Also loved the welcome packs. Walking distance to Ambleside town centre and free parking metres away.

The loveliest little holiday lodge! We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Driftwood Lodge. It is beautifully clean and has everything you could possibly need for a family break. The hot tub was also very clean and the perfect temperature. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hope to be back again soon.

All cabins in Kendal

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Perfectly equipped base for two to explore the Lake District. Hosts were friendly and accommodating, and location of the cabin allows a bit of privacy from the main house. Happily stay again if visiting the area!

Beautiful cabin with all mod cons. Glass roof above the bed to see the stars, aircon, your own covered outdoor area and a comfy bed.
