The cottage was extremely well equipped and ideal for our three night stay while visiting family nearby. It was extremely clean throughout with comfy beds and bedding. The parking was secure and private which was a bonus. Our host Clare was extremely helpful and attentive and made us feel at home. We especially appreciated the welcome pack on our arrival. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Caesars Lodge was an amazing place to stay. From start to finish we were welcomed by Graham & Barbara into a themed, luxurious, fun, open space with fantastic facilities including outside bar, a dome area, jacuzzi and swimming spa.

This good-value lodge has easy access by bus to Darlington town centre, 3.2 km away. Junction 59 of the A1(M) is also 3 km away. The 4-star lodge also has free parking and en suite rooms.

We've ended up staying longer as our van broke down, we're on the second floor this time. Room is spacious. Staff are pleasant and housekeeping come to check everyday if we're in need of anything. Four nights now we've been there and will probably end up being longer . It's easy to book online and we've been told we can just go to the reception and let them know if we require longer time. (Which we did) We have our dog with us so it's lovely to have found a place that accepts pets.

Everything. The environment was spacious particularly if you have kids. The atmosphere was relaxing and the cabin had everything you need from a self-catering perspective. The hot tub was privatised. The seating area outside has a lovely view. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and patient and responded to any queries we had during our stay. I have recommended this lodge to family and would be more than interested in booking the cabin again. If you do take your kids there is a park and a box full of activities they can go into for bats, balls and Frisbees etc. 10 out of 10 experience. Thankyou very much for your hospitality.

Clean, tidy, perfect location to be able to explore the Yorkshire dales. Staff were all friendly and couldn’t fault them in any way shape or form.

Go here if you like peace & quiet with a touch of quirky! The three huts or lodges are situated within a large area of woodland/parkpland where you can take ample walks and meet lots of wildlife - we had a resident pheasant visit us; matching the pheasant lodge we were staying at. The lodge itself is very spacious and equipped with everything you need - there's a fridge, kettle, heater, TV & DVD player, shower etc. If you need a toaster or microwave, it's available in the hut just next door, but we didn't need any of it during our stay. The place is lovingly decorated with pheasant-themed items; there's lots of books and leaflets about local attractions, restaurants, sights etc. Our host Scott was so kind to text us beforhand, asked for estimated arrival time, gave us directions, looked after our luggage and made sure we had everything we needed, including restaurant recommendations and such. We felt very welcomed here and will definitely return for another stay, as the area and the hut are just beautiful!
