Good place to stay with the family. Morning view of mountains are excellent. Very close to the city. Room and wash room are clean. Care taker Mano is very friendly and gave a good service.

We had wonderful stay at the place. The surrounding settings of the hotel is hilly and it was blessed with super view. Room is vary spacious and nicely laid to have maximum benifit of the view. Amazing fusion food with varry attentive staff. Every one there to help you with smile. They set out our dinner at outside terrece. Vary Romantic. We will come back again soon once we finish our round trip.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Nature Lodge Bandarawela! The place exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s a perfect home away from home with everything thoughtfully provided. The lodge comes with a fully equipped kitchen—complete with kitchenware, spices, and all the essentials, making it easy and convenient to prepare meals. There’s a cozy living area with a TV, fridge, and a comfortable sofa bed, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The bedroom is spacious, featuring a double bed and a bunk bed, perfect for couples, families or groups. The bathroom has hot water, and the entire property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. A special thanks to Mr. Lal, who made our stay extra special. Every morning, he served a delicious breakfast right on time, and was always kind, helpful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and we truly appreciated the peace of mind provided by the CCTV cameras around the property—it's very secure, so there’s no need to worry. Overall, this place is absolutely worth the money. It’s a peaceful, clean, and welcoming environment. We highly recommend Nature Lodge to anyone visiting Bandarawela!

Absolutely beautiful location and villa. I’ve stayed in a lot of villas in Sri Lanka and this is hands down the best. We had transport problems and the host and owner were so understanding and accommodating. One of the best weekends of our lives, would 10000% recommend to anyone.

Exceptional view of 9 Arch Bridge offered by local family who go out of their way to make sure you are well looked after. Yes it’s a little way out of Ella but this means it’s much quieter than the hectic town centre. Plus the owner has a Tuk Tuk and will drop you off / pick you up whenever necessary for a fair price. Breakfast is served on your balcony including egg hoppers, coconut pancakes, fruit salad and freshly squeezed juice. Tea and coffee facilities are provided in the room. If you go to Ella, this is the place to stay. Here you have silence from all the tourists and really can enjoy time in nature, watching animals. More than in all other tourist attractions. So this place was our highlight in whole Ella. Also the breakfast was really amazing and the woman helps you with everything. For the hikers, you can start hiking here to Ella rock easily and therefore have the chance to be there a bit more early than others from the town centre.

Everything was just perfect!! We have been there for 4 nights. Devaka and his family have been so nice and the food (breakfast & dinner) was really good. Devaka took us to a tea factory which was very interesting and also gave us a lot of helpful tips for the hikes and other stuff to do around. Room was small but had everything, also very confortable beds. The shower was also hot, what is very nice when it‘s a bit colder. The place was perfect, far away from the chaotic Ella but close enough to the train station. Thanks again to Devaka and his family. Highly recommended to stay there!!

We loved Arawe and would have loved to stay longer. It’s a beautiful place with such a unique style that’s honest to the environment. It’s fabulous to support such a sustainable and community focused business. Very kind and warm welcome from all of the staff. Always there to help. The kids loved the animals. We also participated in a morning yoga session which was just me and my 7 year old daughter. The yoga teacher adapted the session wonderfully to suit us both. The breakfast was probably the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, so much so we asked to come back for breakfast again even though we couldn’t stay a second night.

This family is so so kind! The house is very private and has a super comfortable bed with klamboe. They made diner for us which was the best food we had! The breakfast was also way better then other places! Do not hesitate to book here, it is peaceful and just perfect :-)
