I had the most wonderful time with Raul and his family. The Cabin has everything you need and is extremely comfortable with awesome views from both your patio and bed. It's one of my favorite places, arguably my favorite place I've stayed while traveling the world. Very unique experience. Raul and family are happy to show and share every day life living on the islands. Food is simple but excellent. Raul goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and brings a big thermos daily for tea and coffee. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

I liked literally everything. The place is made with such love and attention for the details that it impresses. I have to say that the pictures of the room with big white bed are worse then what it is in reality. You have full glass wall right to the lake with no obstacles. Also everything is so clean as if no human was there before. There is a proper hot water but the pressure is not strong enough to wash out soap out of the long hair but not the big deal as long as there is a warm shower. We were given a million blankets (I counted it was 7) not to get cold at night and there was also a gaz heater that we could use for a bit. The cherry on top of the cake was that before the night time Wilson brought us two warmers filled with hot and it was an amazingly sweet gesture. Also Wilson out us prior check in to the excursion to the big island to see how local people live and it so much worth it. It was so educational interesting and with awesome lunch with fresh fish and quinoa ect. Wilson’s family also cooked for us and you have to let them know in advance if you are picky with something. But on the day of departure they made a fish for us with some side dishes. Wilson picks you up with the boat at the port and takes you back. And can also assist with the taxi from and to the port. It was around 20 soles one way. Wilson gave us a private excursion and explained about the life on the island and we got the chance to see how families live there . There were no other tourists there at that time of a day, so felt very special and educational. I loved it. We also were given kayak free of charge to wonder around . I checked with kayak some other villas in the area and nothing was as nice as how Wilson did it. They kept an authentic experience with lux touch. They also have a dog that will be happy to see you every time and cats and there were even kittens.

Extremely friendly and accommodating family owned lodging. Huge rooms with bathtub, outdoor gazebo and really warm bed. They give you hot water bottles to keep you warm at night. Eco-friendly bathrooms. The food was also wonderful.

The rooms had amazing views and it was very cozy. The family that runs the place was incredibly lovely and gave us all the support to arrange day trips in puno and to organise our arrival. Staying at Amalia Titicaca Lodge with Juan and his wonderful family was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Peru. This is not just a place to stay—it’s a truly unforgettable experience that you simply should not miss. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness. Juan and his family took care of us as if we were their own. When we struggled with the altitude on our first day, they immediately made us feel comfortable, preparing special teas and even giving us hot water bottles for the night. The altitude sickness disappeared overnight, thanks to their care! Juan took us out on a fantastic boat tour of Lake Titicaca, sharing his knowledge and the beauty of the lake with us. In the evening, he cooked us an incredible supper—fresh and delicious. Breakfast the next morning was the same. Everything about our stay was authentic, peaceful, and filled with small, thoughtful touches. But what truly sets this place apart is Juan’s generosity and dedication. Halfway to Cusco, I realized I had left my laptop behind at the lodge—a total panic moment! Juan went above and beyond to make sure I got it back before leaving Cusco, personally organizing for it to be delivered by bus so I wouldn’t have to pay $200 for a private shuttle. I am eternally grateful for his kindness and effort! If you’re looking for a genuine, unforgettable experience on Lake Titicaca with hosts who treat you like family, do not hesitate—book a stay at Amalia Titicaca Lodge. You will be so glad you did. The Lodge was located very nicely and the view, especially for sunset, was incredible. Eddy and his family are super nice people, we booked all-inclusive and had the 2h Uros-Boat-Tour on the day of our departure, which was very interesting. In addition, they did a great job with the gluten-free meals (as my girlfriend is coeliac).

The place it's an experience, if you are looking for city comfort, please stay at a city hotel. We loved the place, the special connection with this community and the lake it's beyond of words can explain. Wilbert and Delia are an amazing couple of host and their humbling service is remarkable. Raoul's wife cooked simple but delicious dinner and breakfast. What I liked the most is that they provided hot waters upon arrival and also next day morning - delivered to your room and kept you warm. Also the shower is HOT! toilet is super clean, even though the water pressure was a bit low but you can have a hot shower at this place which is amazing. Also the free shuttle from the port and the taxi arrangement from the bus terminal - everything went so smooth. Will definitely recommend to people.

It’s a unique place to stay and therefore you have to adapt, it’s not 3*, but great fun, just role with it ! Haha. We loved it. Lovely people, very acceptable food. The only electricity is a USB charger point in the cabin, apart from lighting.

The hosts Wilson and Lisbeth were very kind. They offered us a shuttle to their island. We had very delicious lunch, dinner and breakfast. The view is stunning. The room was very large and we even had warm water in the shower. The dog Kira was very lovely. A really amazing experience. Wilson arranged a tour for us the next day and stored our luggage during that and brought it to our expedition boat at the end of our trip.
