We were super happy. The cottage is 2 min walk from the bus station, 1 min walk from a super nice bakery where we would go in the mornings. It's also 3 min walk from the lake. The bed and especially the pillows were super comfortable. We didn't care that the cottage was in a backyard. After all, we prefer to be in a quiet place rather than on the street with the constant noise and passing of cars. It was super cosy and quiet, and the patio was a nice one with a garden. The host was friendly, we paid through booking and the receipt and key were waiting for us on the table when we arrived. We were eating out, so I don't know what cutlery there was for cooking.

Such a wonderful place with an amazing atmosphere. It was very clean and tidy. The guy who helped us check-in was so kind and helpful. He left us baked goods for breakfast and recommended some local restaurants and places to see.

Beautiful surroundings. Outside fireplace where guests can gather in the evening. Well equiped common kitchen. Recommended! Make sure you visit the village, which is beautiful, with it's canals, lovely houses and church.

Everything was perfect. We found the keys in the key box, there also was champagne and chocolate for welcome. The kitchen was well equipped and had also tea, coffee, sugar, etc. We really appreciated the big living room, which is perfect for a big group, the fireplace (with firewood) and the sauna. The rooms were very clean and equipment modern. We had a very nice stay after a cold and rainy day.

Our stay at the Hike and Bike Chalet was the highlight of our 2 week trip. Maja was a wonderful host. We would sit outside enjoying a glass of wine watching people and cows come by. Lake Bohinj is about a 15 min walk away from the chalet and there are the most amazing hiking trails on your doorsteps. There are also a a couple of restaurants in the vicinity but we enjoyed buying some produce from the small but well stocked shop 3 mins walk away and would light the fire and enjoy the beauty of a small working village and it's people.

Wooden Treasure is located in Jesenice, 20 km from Sports Hall Bled, 22 km from Adventure Mini Golf Panorama, and 22 km from The Bled Island.
