Lovely little wooden house. Small but with amazingly comfortable bed. I had a restful night. Staff is super kind, the view is amazing. It is next to Soca river, lot of hiking routes and the road to Vrsic. I loved it

Incredible location of the cabin: right in the nature, close to Vrsic pass and the Soca river springs. The cabin is well equipped for both summer and winter. You might wake up and see a deer outside - stunning!

We stayed in apartment 14 during the summer. The balcony had a really good view on the highest peaks, the beautiful lakes were 15 minutes on foot, the city center is 3 minutes away so the location is exeptional. It was quiet and comfortable, easy self check-in with clear instructions. The kitchen is well equipped and everything looked new. We even had our own storage place in the garage for our bikes. I highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed.

I loved the seclusion and the outdoor seating and just being able to sit outside with just nature around! The views were also incredible but the highlight was the staff! They were super accommodating with meals and were lovely to chat too which made me feel very comfortable as a solo traveler!

The hospitality of Ana and the owners was simply great. All were very kind and helpful. The chalet was extraordinary with an unique view towards the valley. Nothing was missing here. Our stay at Chalet Sofija totally exceeded our expectations (which are quite high), from the moment we arrived till the moment we had to leave. First of all, the location of the chalet is out of this world, with views that take your breath away from every angle you look, whether from the room, while enjoying a nice dip in the infinity pool or eating breakfast or dinner from the terrace. The photos do not do it justice, it is unbelievable how beautiful this place is. Secondly and not less important, the hospitality of the hosts, Pop and Aleksandra together with the Manageress Alenka was exceptional throughout our stay and they went out of their way to make us feel at home and that is how we felt during the whole of our stay there. To top it up, the food was expertly prepared and was one of the finest dining experiences we have encountered, exceeding the level of many Michelin star restaurants we have dined at. Pop’s innovative cooking presented us with amazing and delicious dishes with a twist, not only for dinner but also for breakfast. He also served us with very good Slovenian wines that went really well with the dishes served. And, if this was not enough, the room was huge, exquisitely and modernly decorated but perfectly fit with the surrounding nature and offered panoramic views over the surrounding mountains and forest, with a huge terrace from where we could enjoy this beautiful nature up close. I don’t think we will ever find an accommodation in Slovenia that comes even close to what we experienced at Chalet Sofija.
