One of owners, Rafael, allowed us to make a churrasco with some guests that wasn't in the hostel. they all are very kind. His brother made a amazing Pie. it was good.

The property has mountain and river views, and is 1.1 km from Perpetual Defender fortress. Matriz Square is 500 metres away and Culture House is 700 metres from the chalet. The cottage was very big, nice, comfortable, clean and well-located next to the river with the old town on the other side. We felt right at home The hosts were very welcoming and attentive. Would be happy to come back and highly recommend!

We stayed in the Ibiza room ( all rooms have island names of Spain cuz Eduardo used to be a DJ ! Love it ) and listening to the sounds of the waves was an extraordinary and unique experience ! Also the “ café da manhã “ ( breakfast ) is 100 % homemade and Vanesa is an amazing chef ! I even said that I love a specific Brazilian cake ( aipim with coco ) and the next morning she baked one for us !! It was such an amazing gesture ! Thanks a lot Vanesa !! We will for sure come back to Cabana do Mar in our next trip to Angras Jorge & Junior

Each chalet has gas-powered water heating, a fireplace and mountain views. There is a kitchen with a stove, refrigerator and dining area, and satellite TV. Superior chalets also boast a large spa bath and private barbecue area. The balcony overlooking the beautiful garden was wonderful. The breakfast had great coffee and a large selection of breads and 2 kinds of fruit and was delivered to our room by 8 am. The main room had plenty of space, a small kitchen, a table with chairs, and a big bed. The service was exceptional. At our request they set up a bird feeder on our balcony. When we had a big windstorm, they had a good generator.

This is a great little cabin with a beautiful view onto the ocean at Ilha Grande! The room was spacious, well equipped, comfortable and excellent value for money considering the prices elsewhere on the island. Location is a little outside the main town but it’s all so small and walkable it doesn’t make a difference. Note that the cabin is part of Pousada Bela Vista - it’s a bit confusing when you book but you just need to go there and show them your booking confirmation for Chalé Verde and they’ll take to the right place.
