The rooms are large and well equipped with creature comforts . The staff is very friendly and happy to consider all your requests . We met Rati in the front office and she was super helpful. The breakfast spread is adequate and the walk to the river jetty is quite rewarding for birds . There is a resident large group of banded mongooses who are super cute and on their own . The trees in the property are filled with weaver bird nests and there is a raucous group of Grey Turacos and Mouse birds who will keep you rapt with attention at their antics . The restaurant also serves lunch & dinner and has room service although a limited menu.

Situated on the banks of the lower Chobe River in the Kasane region, River View Lodge offers rooms and chalet accommodation with river and garden views as well as an outdoor pool. The lodge had a beautiful location right at the river, which you can enjoy from the pool and lounge area. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The food is very good and organised tours are super nice.

Chobe River Cottages in Kasane ligt aan de oevers van de Chobe rivier en 2 km van het Chobe National Park. Het beschikt over een zwembad en een terras met uitzicht op de rivier. Fijn adres voor een nacht voordat we aan een safari begonnen. Self-catering, en erg ruim. Het zetelbed werd opgemaakt voor ons en er werd een taxi gebeld. We genoten ook even van het river deck aan de Chobe rivier. 's Avonds hadden we ons privé-terras waar we buiten konden eten en lezen. Vlakbij alle winkeltjes, supermarkt, restaurant, en naast Kalahari Tours waar we onze safari geboekt hadden.

African Sunsets (Bophirimo Self-Catering Guest House) bevindt zich in Kasane, op 2,4 km van Baobab Prison Tree Kasane en 4,2 km van Sedudu-poort Nationaal Park Chobe. Nice house in quiet neighbourhood, hostess was very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for our group of four people. We had a hired car and from the house had easy access to Chobe park gate for a drive and to the river for a boat cruise. For those without a vehicle the host is able to book excursions.

Thobolo's Bush Lodge ligt in Kachikau en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is, gratis WiFi, een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. Fantastic outlook over the waterhole with plenty birdlife and animal's. Dinners were excellent.
