O Bona Moremi Safari Lodge heeft een buitenzwembad, een terras en een bar, en is gelegen in Khwai, op 40 km van Mababe-poort Nationaal Park Chobe. Vliegveld Luchthaven Maun ligt op 122 km afstand. We stayed here for 2 nights second week of November 2024 mid-way though a self-drive safari in Moremi and Chobe and it was the highlight of our trip! The place is situated in a lovely location with great game drives around the surrounding area. It’s also on the doorstep to North Gate entrance if you have your own vehicle and wish to head into the park for the day. The tents and general dining area was excellent, the food was even better. As many other reviews have stated, some of which I read during my own research, the food prepared there by the chef and her team really is something else. The staff are also brilliant and will take care of every need you have. They are friendly, pleasant and genuinely want to see you have a good time. Upon arrival we had a punctured tyre, and despite this not really being an issue of the safari lodge the manager Mange came out when he saw me struggling trying to jack up the vehicle and for the next hour was on the ground with me (he basically did most of the work :) ) helping me get it fixed so we could get out on a game drive. Certainly something I won’t forget. Great guy to sit down with and chat to if you want to find out more about Botswana and the local area as he has a lot of experience around Moremi and is super friendly. We didn’t do any of the game drives offered by the lodge, but based on the experiences of other guests we spoke with in the evenings they had many excellent encounters including finding a leopard not far from the lodge itself. Overall a very well run and pleasant place to be, you will not be disappointed and we cannot wait to go back there.

Comfortable Accommodation: Phazama Farm in Maun offers a chalet with a sun terrace, garden, and free WiFi in public areas. Zeer mooi bosrijk domein met prachtig uitzicht over een flood pan aan de rand van de Okavango delta. Op een half uurtje rijden van de luchthaven van Maun is dit een perfecte plek om je reis te starten en/of te eindigen. Katja en Peter runnen hun farm met een warm hart en de ontvangst was fantastisch. Chalets zijn zeer comfortabel met alle voorzieningen om zelf te koken en als je daar even geen zin in hebt, kan je terecht in het restaurant van de vlakbij gelegen Tshilli Farm. Als je via Phazama je helikoptervlucht over de Delta boekt, word je aan het domein zelf opgepikt door de heli voor een onvergetelijke droomvlucht. Daarnaast zijn er nog heel wat andere activiteiten mogelijk. Heel erg genoten van ons verblijf hier.

Xaro Lodge in Shakawe biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de rivier, een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een terras, een restaurant en een bar. Zowel WiFi als privéparkeren is bij de lodge gratis beschikbaar.... Fantastische locatie, fantastische staff, wij hadden Fly als gids tijdens onze wandelsafari en river cruise. Hij had veel leuke verhalen, we hebben veel krokodillen, nijlpaarden en mooie vogels gespot en hij voelde heel goed aan wat we leuk vonden. Echt een aanrader.

Mokoro Lodge bevindt zich in Maun, op 6,4 km van Nhabe Museum, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. Beautiful place and kind people

Thamalakane River Lodge biedt accommodatie in Maun en heeft een tuin en een buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door geopend is. Gasten kunnen gratis privéparkeren bij de accommodatie. Our favorite new stay in Maun before & after visiting the delta. What a GEM! It is a beautiful lodge on the bank of the Boteti river, but even has beautiful views when the river is dry. The service is exceptional and feels 5*. The welcome at the reception is incredibly professional and welcoming. When we came back for the second time they were so happy they put us with a big smile at the bar with a cold drink, so they could make our (already clean and prepped) chalet even nicer with an elaborate flower and towel decoration on the bed. Chello and Kelly, the way you handle the reception and welcome at the lodge is like a warm bath! You two are amazing and it wouldn't be the same without you two & a shoutout to the ladies who make the rooms so gorgeous!!! Also the lodge manageress makes it a point to greet you individually which is also very appreciated at several points during your stay. It seems you have the same waiter in the restaurant throughout your stay (or at least we had , both visits) which is a nice touch.. All the rooms are separate cottages with thatched roofing and part mosquito gauze for airflow along the roof. Very clean, good beds, nice bathrooms and a shower with a ton of pressure. There are rooms with aircon and less river view (but still a nice view) and rooms with the best view but without aircon. I believe there are also family chalets or doubles and a wellness/spa/lounge area, but not sure. The food is great! Don't hesitate to stay here! Thank you from D&A

Shakawe River Lodge biedt een restaurant en accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. Krokovango Crocodile Farm ligt op 2 km. It was just such a lovely place. Super staff and the Manager went out of his way to make us feel at home. From accommodation to boat rides and having breakfast overlooking the Okavango River was just so special. Wil return without Aa doubt. And then, spotting the Pels Fishing Owl again just put the Cherry of the top
