Vanilla Hills Resort beschikt over ruime bungalows in de weelderige, tropische jungle buiten San Ignacio. Vanilla Hills ligt prachtig in de heuvels net buiten San Ignacio. Het is een klein hotel, perfect geleid door gastvrouw Claudia. Wij hadden een boomhut met buitendouche, waar je s morgens wordt gewekt door de vele vogels. Claudia regelde ook 2 tours voor ons, naar Tikal en ATM cave. Het restaurant was heel goed, met een duitse chef in de keuken. Alle medewerkers super vriendelijk en gastvrij. Alles bij elkaar maakte dit een fantastisch verblijf!

Deze accommodatie ligt te midden van de bossen van het nationaal park Blue Hole en biedt gratis WiFi, privéparkeergelegenheid en gratis fietsverhuur om de omgeving te verkennen. The food, specifically the pizza stood out.

Yumas Riverfront Lodge ligt op 3,5 km van Cahal Pech en biedt een buitenzwembad en een tuin. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een terras en gratis WiFi. Waanzinnige accommodatie op een mooie & rustige locatie aan de rivier, fantastische eigenaresse Christelle (met het hart op de juiste plek!), erg fijn zwembad, heerlijk ontbijt, beste bedden van onze vakantie, super douche, behulpzaam in het boeken van taxi’s & activiteiten (ATM cave), 3 ontzettend lieve & speelse honden. Wij komen hier zeker terug!! Dikke aanrader :) Enige om rekening mee te houden: 40-45min lopen naar downtown San Ignacio, of ~7min met de taxi.

Lower Dover Jungle Lodge & Maya Ruins is gelegen in Unitedville met uitzicht op de rivier en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde keuken, bar, tuin, terras en barbecue. Incredible place. The colorful cute cabins, the belizian river that flows through the property is really beautiful, I went there every day, the trails to the maya ruins are a great attraction, the food is great too! I traveled as a digital nomad and stayed for about a week. Was a real sanctuary, and Maddy and Justin and Bill created a beautiful place. Highly recommended!

Samen met Turtle Inn , beste lodges waar we ooit overnacht hebben. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, prachtige accommodatie, zalig zwembad en zeer veel en goed georganiseerde uitstappen
