First of all, the community where the place is located is super safe—just like a typical village with chickens freely wondering around. I stopped locking my door the day after I arrived, once I realized how calm and peaceful it was. As a solo female traveler I value safety very much. Satori is located closer/deeper to the jungle so it is even calmer, and you can start your hike right at the gate. Sometimes monkeys would come to the site and I could watch them while having my breakfast/lunch. Secondly, I was amazed by the owner, a true animal lover and sustainability enthusiast. They handled everything themselves—gardening, improving the land, and preparing delicious breakfasts. Communication was easy. From the moment I made the booking, they provided a ton of useful information—like the boat schedule and more. I asked, and they arranged boat tickets and guided tours for me. Keep in mind, I don’t speak any Spanish! By the end of my stay, it felt like I was saying goodbye to a friend. Amazing people. The cabin was clean, equipped with a comfortable bed and mosquito net, fan, shelves and electrical outlets. When I wasn't hiking or touring, I enjoyed relaxing in my hammock outside the cabin. They also have decent Wi-Fi. There was a road construction down the road (village part), so I needed to detour (around 5 min walk). It should be gone in a month or so.

The food was local and they adapted to our preferences (my partner is vegetarian), the cabins were comfortable, cozy and we felt at home. It was just amazing: the place, the activities, the people…the family was so helpful and nice…jhon picked us from the Airport and organized everything to get to the place…especially the nightwalk with our very nice guide Hector was amazing, the food was also delicious but for us a bit too much…and it is great to have a place without electricity and where the cellphone doesnt work…within the short time we spent there (4 Nights) we totally regenerated … we never slept that good and that much … thanks again to jhon and his family and Hector…what else to expect: monkeys (they cross the trees next to the cabins every day around 5pm), lots of birds and butterflys, spiders, frogs,…bring your binoculars! Keep in mind, that the meal-price is not included at booking.com

Amazona Lodge ligt in Leticia, en is voorzien van een 3-sterrenaccommodatie met toegang tot een tuin en een terras. Zowel WiFi als privéparkeren is bij de lodge gratis beschikbaar. Mevrouw Pilar is een zalige gastvrouw! De hutten zijn biezonder goed ontworpen, mooi en comfortabel. Een aanrader!

Reserva Natural Tanimboca bevindt zich in Leticia. Het restaurant bij de lodge is gespecialiseerd in lokale gerechten. Super coole locatie. Verrassend luxe met stromend water in de boomhut. Diner en ontbijt en korte night walk bij de prijs inbegrepen.

Reserva Natural Natura Park biedt accommodatie met een restaurant in Puerto Nariño. Sommige units hebben een zithoek en/of een balkon. Je vindt bij de lodge een terras en een tuin. The location was incredible and our stay in the tree house was very comfortable. All the staff were very kind and attentive, helping us to decide and arrange tours for everything we wanted to do. Luis even kindly rescued us from a tarantula who had made its home in our room! Arranging a private boat to the hotel was very easy and facilitated by Natura.

The property is very nice, we had a bungalow and it was clean, had air conditioning and the location was excellent right in the middle of town. Julia was exceptional and works so hard day and night
