Boasting an outdoor pool and a hot tub, La Finca Lodge is located in Fortuna, 35 km from La Fortuna Waterfall. Complimentary WiFi is available. This accomodation was awesome! Food was good, staff was really helpful, loved all the animals and the whole area was amazing. Could stay here for 2 weeks.

Surrounded by 860 private acres of tropical rainforest and featuring an on-site lake, a swimming pool, a sun terrace and games room, Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails is located within the Arenal... The location close to the volcano was amazing. The swimming pool and heated jacuzzi were top notch, and accessing them through a hanging bridge was an awesome experience. The room was also very nice.

There are SO many great sodas and places to eat at in town, we didn't necessarily want to pay for included breakfast. The kitchenette was perfect, and we could re-heat leftovers etc, but it really felt more like staying at our own place. We hardly saw another person (staff or guests, but we know they were there!) the whole time, and it was so peaceful. Staff was very responsive to questions via Whatsapp, and the instructions for getting in and out of the gate/ parking area/ keys etc were very clear.

They take the time to genuinely connect with their guests and go above and beyond to cater to individual needs. The meals are a highlight—delicious, healthy, and hearty, made with fresh ingredients sourced directly from their garden. Every bite feels homemade and thoughtfully prepared. The lodge itself is a stunning blend of a forest and a botanical garden, teeming with wildlife, especially birds. It's a nature lover's dream. I highly recommend the night tour with Jay—it’s an unforgettable experience. Nohelia is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and Costa Rica as a whole, always ready to offer helpful tips and advice. One thing to note: the lodge is accessible only with a 4WD vehicle, as the last 3 kilometers of the road are quite rough. However, the journey is absolutely worth it. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Ecolodge Cecropia. If I could, I’d rate it 200%. Nohelia and Jay are truly wonderful hosts, and they’ve created a magical place that’s not to be missed.

The house offered a spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano and lush green surroundings. The spacious yard was perfect for morning workouts. The bathroom was very well-equipped and roomy. We also made good use of the laundry facilities, which allowed us to take care of our laundry during our stay.

This eco lodge is located 1 km from the Arenal Volcano and 2 km from hot springs. It features an extensive garden, tours and outdoor activities arrangement and free Wi-Fi throughout. We absolutely loved this place! The bed was comfortable. The location is great, close to coffee tours, shops, and La Fortuna waterfall. They have a restaurant on site which is very affordable and they provide delicious food, smoothies and cocktails. We saw many wild animals while we were eating because they put food for them near the restaurant. The breakfast was delicious as well. They offer fruits, coffee/tea, fresh juice, and 3 different options for breakfast (traditional/eggs & toast/ pancakes). The staff was very friendly as well. There is also a butterfly house guests can visit for free.
