Nothing. Inside was like a dark cave. Outside resembled a Scout Hut. Deceiving photos on website. The 2 modern villas which dominated the photos were occupied. We did not get what was advertised and left within the hour losing all our money. Over 600 euros. Disgraceful. Girl even asked for 10 euros for the heat to the hottub. No doubt a little earner for her. She didn't return it. No partial refund offered. Be careful when booking this place.

A perfect but brief stay in this lovely hotel conveniently situated for the central area of town but more particularly for the bus/train stations and ferry terminal. We had an early morning flight and had to catch the first airport shuttle bus literally across the road so this was ideal. Unfortunately, our early start meant we weren't able to sample the breakfast but I'm sure we'll come back here again so maybe next time. Oh, and the room was spotless, very comfortable and staff very helpful and friendly!!

When we first arrived and were shown to the chalets at the rear of the property we were a little unsure of how things would work out, however once the room warmed up it really became a warm and comfortable little haven. An additional bonus was the La Cala pizzeria just five minutes walk away and serving excellent pizzas at a good price, (our veggie one was 11 euros and was ample to share). Another bonus is that the beach is very close by and we parked in the centre of Suances and enjoyed a pleasant walk and meal there.

A whole field for the dogs to play on. Easy access to the beach. The food was delicious and good value for money. The views from the cabin were stunning. The swimming pools were clean and warm and there was a dog pen to put the dogs in whilst you swam or sunbathed.

Exceptionally clean hotel. Very quiet and peaceful stay. We needed an overnight stay before catching the ferry from Santander, this was perfect. A short walk is a nice locals bar for a beer, although if you want to eat at the bar, food was served a little late for us at 9 pm. There is another restaurant but it was shut when we were there. The hotel will make sandwiches though.

Views from the chalet were brilliant and location is near to many places of interest. The accommodation and kitchen utilities etc were clean and new. Ten minutes drive from Santillana and Tagle beach nearby is lovely.

I found this hotel last minute and I can see the appeal and how the reviews about when it is actually fully operational make sense, it does have lovely structures and areas. However, when I visited in March during the week the hotel was pretty much shut down. No terrace, bar, or good breakfast. The staff did give some fruits and biscuits to eat in the room. The rooms are ok and the location is great for walks and sightseeing. Safe parking is available and staff are friendly.
