So many great recommendations and lovely treats left for us on our arrival which you don’t expect. She goes above and beyond to make your experience special, thank you so much. Location was just as we wanted, in the middle of rolling hills it was stunning. We were so lucky with the weather while there too. Waking up to that view was amazing. There are some lovely pubs around which are a short drive away. If you’re looking to do walks we did Thors cave one day. This was just beautiful scenery and little lambs and sheep everywhere you looked it was lovely. Then we did the three dales. For a bit of fun we also went to Alton towers one day which was great too. The shepherd hut itself is perfect. So cute and has everything you need for a cosy stay. We hope to come back one day and this little gem will be recommended to family and friends for sure. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. It was perfect in every way.

Absolutely gorgeous setting, high up above the village of Hope and close to the ascent to Win Hill. This little cabin is located on a charming hillside, with sheep and lambs coming up to the gate to say hello. Very idyllic and quiet at night (save for the bleating lambs!) with a gorgeous view south across the valley. There is a little barbecue and outside seating area to take it all in. The cabin itself is compact, but clean and with everything you need for a quirky couple of nights' stay. Would absolutely book again.

Everything is perfect , the cabin is so well equipped, it’s warm and welcoming the location is amazing so peaceful, the cabin is spacious and spotless, we enjoyed the hot tub after a cold walk around the beautiful lake

Helen and Martin are so friendly and helpful, the House is cozy and lovely, we already miss staying there and are looking forward to our next stay.

The property is situated 3 km from Chatsworth House. Very detailed about how to get to the property. A very friendly and peaceful place to stay! Milk and a few snacks were put out for arrival, this was a bonus! The doggos all playing together.

It is in such a beautiful location overlooking the peak district, with the best sunsets! The hosts Jo and Paul are very welcoming and helpful, very quick response times! The Lodge I stayed in was dog friendly, it was so clean and comfortable with all amenities needed. It is a 15 minute drive to Carsington water and there are pubs/shops nearby. It is easy to get to other areas of the peak district. I'd go as far to say it's one of the nicest places I've ever stayed! I'll definitely be returning and friends and family are coming next time!
