Location is good but not excellent,lots of light around it’s impossible to take pictures of Milky Way. Not so clean but with this price, you can’t ask more. The chef is a very talented and sweet boy who always takes care of us and makes the best baklava ever. Both brothers were sweet and helpful at all times and shared really amazing parts of their culture with us (they even prepared fireworks as a surprise for new years). PRO TIP: If you want to take the keep your - we recommend the full day one, because the shorter ones (like 4h) take you only to the main attractions, so the 10h can take you to lesser visited places and in low season you can have incredible locations for yourself. Also you get to see an amazing sunset at the desert. PRO TIP #2: If possible, stay more than one night, there is a lot to see.

This was the third time we stayed at the Bait Ali, and it's as pleasant and gorgeous as ever. Obviously, a lot of loving care and attention to details goes into everything. Ever-present and ever-smiling manager Osama efficiently takes care of "everything, everywhere all at once", and Khader at the reception is also very helpful. The food is outstanding. The rooms are spic and span, and whoever takes care of the gardening deserves applause, too!

Be aware if traveling by car that they charge an additional 40 JOD (20 JOD per person) to take guests to/from an off-road campsite in the desert in a 4x4, which they didn’t mention in the description. That location was lovely but the tent was not heated as advertised, there was no hot water and it was freezing. So the next day, at our insistence, we were moved the to another camp. The second location was in a small village in the desert rather than the bare desert with heated tents that they advertise. The setup was nice, it just isn’t what we purchased. It was heated and had hot water though, for which we were grateful. They also made sure to give us toilet paper and hand soap this time.

The swimming pools are amazing and very clean, my kids loved it and enjoyed staying there, I would go again in the future.

One of my favorite spots was the swimming pool. After a long day of exploring, it was the perfect place to relax and cool off. Breakfast was lovely—a great start to the day with fresh, simple, and delicious options. But dinner…oh, dinner was the real showstopper! They served zarb, a traditional Jordanian dish cooked underground, and wow—it was a feast. The flavors were rich and unforgettable, and the staff took the time to explain the whole cooking process, which made it even more special. Dining under the stars with that amazing zarb? Pure magic.
