Wonderful family run hotel with great staff. Everyone was very kind and helpful . The place had really nice views over Wadi Musa and the dinner served at the hotel was delicious! The room was tastefully decorated and romantic with a big balcony.

This place is really special - like nowhere I have stayed before. It is a bit outside of Dana village so there is a sense of seclusion and serenity. The views are incredible. The staff is wonderful and really went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. Thank you Ibrahim, Ghalib, Salah and the Syrian man (whose name I forgot) for offering exceptional hospitality in an exceptional location. Special mention for the food - all homemade by Ghalib’s wife and incredibly tasty buffets for dinner and breakfast. We also did a hike with a guide called ‘Amar and were very happy with it. Dana is truly a gem and the people make it even more special.

Well, I got a free upgrade to the royal suite! What’s not to like! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were very extensive and delicious. The location is very remote, but beautyful and quiet.

Amazing location. Just a short walk to the entrance to of Petra. The cabins were comfortable and toilets/showers are clean with warm water. Private parking. The dinner was good 7 JOD per person. Awesome value for money!

Great location for seeing Petra on a budget with great value for the price. Didn't realize when we booked they had a options to buy meals. Looked like good food

Amazing place to stay when travelling trough Jordan! Atmosphere, location and hospitality are great 😊 Would definitely recommend! Also the hikes from the camp are really nice.

The place is absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking view that makes you feel like you're sleeping in the open air. We were the only guests there and were treated like royalty. The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable, featuring a large bed, a very clean bathroom, a hairdryer, a safe, hot water available at all times, and internet access. We could even park our car right next to the cabins, making it feel like we had a small house to ourselves. They prepared a delicious Lebanese-style dinner for us, served in generous portions. We had an extremely comfortable night and highly recommend visiting the area to enjoy nature walks and the stunning surroundings. I strongly suggest visiting this location, which is situated opposite the Dana Biosphere Reserve and close to the Rose City of Petra.

My stay at Dana, Family Home Lodge was perfect from start to finish. We felt so safe and welcome that we ended up staying two extra nights. As two friends, we felt completely at ease here. The hospitality of Hazem and his family was truly heartwarming – he even surprised us by singing in Dutch for us! The hike with Salem was an unforgettable experience, filled with breathtaking views and magical moments. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious, and we were given extra blankets for a cozy night. In the evenings, we were treated to entertainment and a warm atmosphere that made us feel right at home. This place is an absolute must-visit!

My stay at Petra Cabin Hostel was truly excellent, and I can confidently say it is one of the best places to stay in Wadi Musa/Petra in terms of comfort, service, and value for money.: The food was amazing! The restaurant offers fresh and delicious meals with a good mix of local and international dishes. Breakfast was rich and satisfying, and dinner was full of authentic Jordanian flavors like mansaf and makloubeh. Everything was prepared with care and attention to detail. The location is absolutely perfect the hostel is right next to the Petra Visitor Center gate, just a one-minute walk! You couldn’t ask for a better location. It saved us a lot of time and effort, and everything we needed like shops, restaurants, and markets was close by. The cleanliness was outstanding. The rooms were tidy, the beds were comfortable with clean sheets, and the shared areas were well-maintained. The bathrooms were cleaned regularly, which made the stay very comfortable. One of the best services they offer is the shared car transportation. It made traveling to places like Wadi Rum, Aqaba, and Amman very easy and affordable. The service is well-organized, the drivers are professional, and communication was smooth and quick. This place combines great hospitality, a perfect location next to Petra Gate, delicious food, excellent cleanliness, fair prices, and reliable transportation services. I highly recommend Petra Cabin Hostel to anyone visiting Petra — whether solo travelers, couples, families, or groups. It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay here again
