Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and freshly prepared, making our stay very comfortable. A special mention goes to Mr. Lasantha, who gave us massive support throughout our stay. His warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care made a big difference. Furthermore, he arranges Sri Lankan cooking lessons for foreign guests, which is a wonderful initiative to share our food and culture with the world. What impressed us most is that all of this is offered at an affordable price, and the team works tirelessly 24/7 to give their very best to guests. Overall, Rock Shade Chalet is a perfect place for a peaceful family getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sigiriya.

The room was extremely comfy and clean, the owner was attentively cared for all our needs. We also arranged transfer and Tuktuk with them on fair prices. The breakfast was delicious and had many variaties.

We had a really nice stay, breakfast with fresh fruits and traditional dishes. The hosts were friendly and very helpful, they gave us useful recommendations and even cooked for us a delicious local dinner and organized a fantastic safari in the Hurulu Eco Park. We can only recommend it!

We were in sri lanka for the first time and this was our first destination so we didnt really know how to get around and they took us everywhere with their tuktuks, arranged a good massage and a safari and helped us with finding the bus to trincomalee. Honestly can't recommend Sigiriya Lake Paradise enough! Stayed here for 5 nights and it felt like home. The location is stunning literally on a lake with a view of Lion's Rock. Chami and the family are super friendly and helpful, they even came with me on some day trips and made sure I was sorted with everything. And the food Absolutely delicious.If you're heading to Sigiriya, definitely book in here. You won't regret it.
