This is such a charming, cozy hotel with only 6 rooms, which makes the whole stay feel almost private and exclusive. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The hotel is right in front of the beach, and the beachfront area is clean, well maintained, and perfect for relaxing. The staff — including the manager — are incredibly friendly, always smiling, and genuinely helpful. They truly go above and beyond for any request. They even prepared a breakfast box for us on the morning we left early for whale watching, which was so thoughtful. Breakfast at the hotel was also delicious: fresh fruits, tea/coffee, and a great selection of dishes. We had dinner one night as well — the seafood platter was super tasty! A lovely stay — highly recommended! 🐬✨

Koggala Airport is 85 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. This was one of the best places we've been to on our trip to Sri Lanka. It's in the middel of nature, there is a beautiful waterfall where you can dip into the water and even get fish therapy about a 5min walk from the Hotel. The glass bungalow was incredible, the room was clean, very comfortable and there is a mini fridge with snacks and beverages. Apart from the room, the host and his wife are lovely people, so friendly, warm and welcoming. We had a tasty welcome drink, then they showed us the way to the waterfall, before dinner, the host took us on a little walk to see the surrounding area and after dinner he took us on a little night walk around the house to see the little animals living there. He gave us much information about plants and animals and also organized a guided trip to the rainforest the following day. His wife prepares breakfast and dinner herself and it was by far the best we've eaten on our trip. The accomodation is not easy to find and to access if you are not travelling by car, but you can inform the host and they organize a pickup at a reasonable price. This wasn't a negative point for us as we enjoy the sounds of nature, but if you're a light sleeper it's fair to mention that the sound of the waterfall is quite loud and you can also hear the frogs and circadas quite a lot. That's definitely a pro when you, like us, like to be surrounded by the sounds of nature but may be a con if you want to be in a more quiet place. We really recommend to visit this beautiful place when you are travelling in the Sinharaja area! Thank you so much for everything!! :)

At the chalet complex, every unit includes a desk. With a private bathroom equipped with a shower and a hair dryer, units at the chalet complex also offer free WiFi. Guests can enjoy a meal at an outdoor dining area at the chalet. Yes the tree house is amazing, the breakfast delicious and the cinemon garden amazing. But the most beautifull part is the friendliness and hospitality off the family. Their warmth and service has no limits and brought tears in my eyes.

Located in Mirissa South, Sira’s Chalets is 82 km from Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport. First and foremost the location and the friendly owner Siras. The staff Sampath was also friendly and resourceful. The bedroom was comfortable. The beach is right in the backyard. There are many nice restaurants and lively events around the beach. Coconut hill, secret beach and parrot rock are nearby, within 1 to 2 kilometers.

For added convenience, the property can provide towels and bed linen for an extra charge. If you’re staying in Hiri this is a great option, the grounds are so well maintained. Our villa was really clean, equipped with all the amenities we needed (like gas stove for cooking and teas.) Over our stay we saw monkeys, peacocks, squirrels and even a tortoise, which we really enjoyed. Restaurants and Hiri beach are right down the hill.

Lunuvila Resort Hiriketiya Dikwella features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Dickwella, 800 metres from Dickwella Beach.

Units are equipped with a kitchen with a dining area, and a private bathroom with free toiletries and shower. A fridge, a minibar and stovetop are also provided, as well as a kettle. We like the place a lot, it's new and more villas are still being built. Have a small patio to eat breakfast in the morning. The villa is a bit dim but gives a cosy atmosphere. Also it has warm water heater! The owner though is the best part. He is so genuine and friendly, tries to help and cooks really good traditional breakfast. We got unlucky with the weather and it rained a lot, so he offered us a ride to the center so we could get dinner. He also arranged a scooter for us and dropped us off at the bus stop, one of the best hosts we ever had! Location is close to Hiriketiya restaurants and shops, 10min walk away.
