The staff — including the manager — are incredibly friendly, always smiling, and genuinely helpful. They truly go above and beyond for any request. They even prepared a breakfast box for us on the morning we left early for whale watching, which was so thoughtful. Breakfast at the hotel was also delicious: fresh fruits, tea/coffee, and a great selection of dishes. We had dinner one night as well — the seafood platter was super tasty! A lovely stay — highly recommended! 🐬✨

Beautiful buildings and lovely creek flowing past. Sadly the pool wasn’t full as they had had some big rain. The owners were very apologetic though. We will visit again so we get to swim in the pool.

The location is unbeatable—literally right on the beach, so morning swims and sunset views were just steps away. The beach itself is gorgeous and never felt crowded. A huge thank-you to our host, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He even arranged a car for our ride back to Colombo, which made the trip home stress-free. Great vibe, perfect setting, and wonderful hospitality. Highly recommend!

Also by the river seeing crocodiles, peacocks, monkeys and comodo dragon was fascinating.

A fridge, a minibar and stovetop are also provided, as well as a kettle. our absolute favorite stay in sri lanka! we kept extending it because oh we loved it so much. 1. the place is ideally located between dickwella and hiriketiya. close to the main road but far enough to be quiet! (important for us) 2. the room is extremely clean and well-thought out. very beautifully decorated with so much love and attention to detail. we had everything needed and couldn’t ask for more really. having our own kitchen was a huge plus and you can also do your laundry here. 3. the host Dasitha is one of the nicest (if not the nicest) person we’ve ever met. he was so patient and humble and truly cared about our experience…! very welcoming and friendly. great communication too. made our stay so special. helped us a lot in all possible aspects of our travel. feeling very grateful we decided to stay there and meet him. 4. the space: there’s a quiet outdoor area with sunbeds. we loved it! 5. unbeatable value for the price.! we couldn’t wish for a better accommodation! can’t recommend enough and look forward to coming back. thank you so much Dasitha!
