Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park. We really enjoyed our stay at this small family-run business. The brothers Kai and Sven as well as the rest of the staff work really hard to make this place a lovely experience for all guests. We were upgraded to a lodge room as the adventure camp tends to not be occupied during winter time. The food was incredibly good, we had 3 to 4-course meals every evening and a delicious breakfast with lots of options. The barbecue dinner outside was our favorite. We also did the Sossusvlei tour with Sven and highly recommend it, as well as the sundowner tour where we saw zebras, ostriches, jackals, oryx, warthogs and more. There are hikes you can do around the large property and waterholes where you can look out for some animals. At night, you get to see the milky way and stars as bright as day. It's enjoyably quiet and the attention we received from Kai and Sven and their colleagues is hard to come by in other places! We'd definitely stay here again :)

Great staff, fantastic food, the sundowner was perfect. The place, together with the staff, is exceptional. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent staff especially Allen in the restaurant and Abdul in the bar. Friendly and helpful. Not cheap but highly recommended.

Towering over the red sand dunes of the Namib Desert, this 4-star lodge offers an outdoor pool and a dining terrace overlooking a floodlit waterhole. Exceptional place in a fantastic location. Each room has a beautiful view overlooking the desert where we saw animals (oryx and springbok) roaming freely. The room itself was beautiful and spacious. The bathroom was huge!! The buffet for breakfast and dinner caters to all tastes and needs. The service from the staff was very friendly and efficient.
