One of the most magical places I’ve been to. The road to there is bumby, meaning that it’s literally in the middle of nowhere/nature. I personally loved that. We drove there by pick up and already the way up there felt like an adventure itself. Once arrived, we saw the magical lights everywhere. The owners really wanna make it a special place, welcome you warmly, have the best food I’ve had in Nicaragua. Whatever you order, it’s amazing. The rooms were super comfortable, big, beautifully decorated and I slept like a baby. The whole area is family-/kid-friendly, nice to calm down, relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. Absolutely perfect.

Το Eco lodge finca magdalena είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στον κήπο που βρίσκεται σε Altagracia. Προσφέρει εστιατόριο, κοινόχρηστη κουζίνα, μπαρ, κήπο και βεράντα. The views, sounds of the jungle and the coffee were all amazing! And as an added bonus, you could wash your own laundry by hand.

My first week stay I was traveling alone and always felt safe and secure.

This place is definitely a 10 out of 10. The casitas are beautiful and even have a hot shower. The swimmingpool surrounded by palmtrees and hammocks are the perfect ingredients to relax. The owners and staff are amazing, breakfast is great and beach is close by. Absolutely nothing to complain.

We loved the butterflies in front of our cabin and we liked all the greenery. The kitchen was perfect and I loved having two lounge areas (eating and sitting). Staff was very friendly!

The room was super cute, nice little extras, great sink & shower areas. A/C & fan worked well. Room size & bed were good. Nice outdoor seating/ lounging areas. The use of the kitchen & included coffee were much appreciated. Situated close to the beach & restaurants. Friendly owner & staff.

This is one of my favorite lodgings during my long travels through Central America. The hosts were exceptional, the meals exquisite, and the space wonderful. The nature surrounding the lodge was an amazing respite from the busy cities. Waking to the sound of howler monkeys and the waves along the shores of Lake Cocibolca was magical.

Το The Jungle έχει θέα στο βουνό, δωρεάν WiFi και δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. Είναι σε Mérida και απέχει 2,9 χλμ από Ηφαίστειο Maderas. We were given a very warm welcome and were well looked after by Maykel and his family . He arranged a volcano guide and we ordered packed lunches which were perfect at the top of a long hike . It was really useful that we could rent Maykal’s scooter as we had taken a taxi from the port. With large backpacks renting motos at the port would not have been fesible for us. Having independent ( not taxi) transport is, I think important to have a relaxed tour of this beautiful island . The roads are quiet and generally very low speed so biking is easy and the main way people get around. We had a wonderful , large room and big bathroom with a shower. There was a terrace where we sat peacefully in the evenings watching and listening to monkeys and enjoying the sunset. The food is all cooked to ordered. We had excellent breakfasts and we ate in 2 out of 4 evenings. They ask that you order your meal in advance so it can be freshly prepared. We were really happy with the location. Close to a lake beach, but close using the moto to the best sandy beaches- Playa Mango and San Domingo. The WiFi was excellent . We were so pleased we chose The Jungle and highly recommend it.

Το La Bambouseraie είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στον κήπο που βρίσκεται σε Balgue. Προσφέρει εστιατόριο, κοινόχρηστη κουζίνα, μπαρ, κήπο και βεράντα. The location is incredible! You’re in the jungle with so much wildlife around you! The cabins were so cool high up and they had everything you need. Elias, one of the staff was amazing and always chatted to us about our days, what we got up to and any recommendations he had. We hired an atv which they handled for us, everything was just taken care of, could t recommend staying here more! It’s on the side of the island too that everything isn’t too far if you got transport (you need to hire something, a bike, scooter or atv). Also Loki and Lola the German Shepard’s are amazing and super friendly , also the property has pigs and who doesn’t love pigs!
