About a 30 minute drive to the closest city (with more stores and whatnot.) Camping places along the roads, aswell as sauna locations not too far from the house.

We really enjoyed our stay between the cabin and the lake. There is a road that was a bit busy during the day, but very quiet at night so it was not a problem. The city of Stryn is very close with a nice supermarket and the owner recommended magnificent hikes

The property feels very fresh, with all the equipment and fittings being modern, high-quality, and well maintained. Everything was spotless and clean, which made the stay extra comfortable. The design is sleek yet cozy, and the riverside location adds a very relaxing vibe—you can really unwind while enjoying the scenery. There’s also a comfortable outdoor seating area with a fire pit, which made the evenings extra special. Sitting by the fire with the river beside you was an amazing experience.

The amenities are superb—the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. ​Communication with the hosts was excellent and fast; they were incredibly helpful and provided great local tips. ​The location is ideal, offering easy access to local attractions, and it was perfect for our children. ​A truly superb weekend retreat. Highly recommended! We can't wait to return.
